If you’re thinking of visiting Turkey then the Mandarin Boutique Hotel, located in Uzunyurt in the beautifully picturesque Muğla Province, should be at the very top of your list of hotel considerations. Why? There are a number of reasons – not least that they have received TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence for the fourth year in a row. Nothing better than an unbiased review, is there?

The Mandarin Boutique Hotel offer lots of exciting events as well as a luxurious place to stay. They offer Special Interest weeks, for those of us who like to take part in specific activities, in small groups of friendly and likeminded travellers. Their most popular Special Interest week? Their Guided Walking WeeMandarin_resized_02-300x200ks, so popular that they’re offering another week in the autumn – these take place on weeks beginning 28th September, 5th October, and 19th October. For those who like to plan even further ahead, you can pre-register for walks taking place in spring 2016 (the best time of year to explore the unspoilt countryside around the hotel!).

This year, rather excitingly, they’re introducing two new Special Interest weeks: for the keen dancer, there’s the Argentine Tango Weeks, running 27th July and 31st August (so you’ll have to be quick to get those!), and for the ardent writer there’s their brand-new Creative Writing Course, run by best-selling British novelist Lesley Cookman. What better place to find your muse than in the Mandarin’s tranquil, intimate setting? This one runs from 5th-12th October 2015.

In respect of their beautiful, unspoilt surroundings, the Mandarin are committed to sustainability, and marked World Environment Day, on 5th June, by organising a rubbish clearance day. It involved the whole community – including the village school – making Faralya look its very best for the summer!
The hotel also offers a wide selection of traditional Turkish mezes, so you can enjoy a taste of Turkey as well as the beautiful surroundings! With their wide array of exciting and varied activities, eco-friendly attitude and tranquil atmosphere, we think the Mandarin Boutique Hotel is an absolute winner if you’re thinking about visiting Turkey this year!
